As a Program Support Intern in Summer 2022, Annie supports ongoing projects and researches emerging fields and approaches to address some of the world’s most dire needs. Annie is passionate about using sustainable, inclusive, equitable, and collaborative strategies to address global health, education, and international development barriers.
Annie is a senior at Macalester College, majoring in international studies with a minor in Asian Studies and a concentration in Community and Global Health. From 2020-2022, Annie interned with OneSky for all children, a global educational NGO that trains communities and caregivers to provide responsive care and early education to vulnerable young children so they can thrive. In the spring of 2022, she studied abroad at the Institute of Field Education in Strasbourg, France, through which she interned with the CLSM Eurométropole Strasbourg.
In September 2021, Annie participated in MUN Impacts’s E3 Summit in a workshop discussing the importance of early childhood care and education for all children and the role that youth can play in achieving SDG 4.2.
